Monel K500 Foil is composed of approximately 63% nickel, 30% copper, 2.7% aluminum, and 0.6% titanium, with small amounts of iron and manganese. This precipitation-hardened alloy achieves tensile strengths exceeding 960 MPa and maintains excellent toughness across sub-zero and elevated temperatures. It retains the corrosion resistance of standard Monel alloys while offering nearly double the strength and hardness. Monel K500 also provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and oxidation, making it ideal for components exposed to high mechanical and thermal stress.
