Stainless Steel 321 Coils and Slitting Coils are austenitic stainless steels stabilized with titanium, containing approximately 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and small additions of titanium to prevent carbide precipitation during welding. This composition enhances their resistance to intergranular corrosion and high-temperature oxidation. The material offers excellent tensile strength (515–750 MPa) and good creep and stress rupture properties. 321 stainless steel retains its mechanical integrity in temperatures up to 870°C, making it ideal for heat-resistant applications while maintaining good formability, weldability, and long-term durability.
