Stainless Steel 348 Angles are made up of iron, chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), along with small amounts of niobium and tantalum to enhance stabilization. This austenitic stainless steel grade is known for its remarkable resistance to intergranular corrosion post-welding and excellent oxidation resistance up to 900°C. It boasts a tensile strength of about 550 MPa, along with good yield strength and impressive creep resistance.
